Fermions, Gauge Theories, and the Sinc Function Representation for Feynman Diagrams
We extend our new approach for numeric evaluation of Feynman diagrams to integrals that include fermionic and vector propagators. In this initial discussion we begin by deriving the Sinc function representation for the propagators of spin1 2 and spin-1 fields and exploring their properties. We show that the attributes of the spin-0 propagator which allowed us to derive the Sinc function represe...
متن کاملFeynman Diagrams in Non - Abelian Gauge Theories
A simple and systematic method for the calculation of group-theoretic weights associated with Feynman diagrams in non-Abelian gauge theories is presented.
متن کاملGroup theory for Feynman diagrams in non-Abelian gauge theories
The increased interest in non-Abelian gauge theories has in recent years led to the computation of many higher-order Feynman diagrams. ' " Asymptotic form-factor and scattering amplitude calculations are of special interest, because they suggest that it might be possible to sum up diagrams with arbitrary numbers of soft gluons just as one can sum up soft-photon processes in QED. In such a progr...
متن کاملThe Sinc Function Representation and Three-Loop Master Diagrams
We test the Sinc function representation, a novel method for numerically evaluating Feynman diagrams, by using it to evaluate the three-loop master diagrams. Analytical results have been obtained for all these diagrams, and we find excellent agreement between our calculations and the exact values. The Sinc function representation converges rapidly, and it is straightforward to obtain accuracies...
متن کاملEigenvalue Inequalities for Fermions in Gauge Theories
We show that QCD with a sufficient number of fermions of zero bare mass has physical massless particles. That result also follows from triangle anomalies, so only our method is novel. Our method involves proving special cases of recently conjectured paramagnetic inequalities for fermions. The proofs are simple applications of the Atiyah-Patodi-Singer theorem on spectral flow.
